Who is MMC?
We are a music therapy provider currently serving Southwest Idaho and Southeast Oregon. Music Makes Connections (MMC) started as a conversation between two friends looking to expand people's access to the unique and powerful benefits of music therapy. Though music therapist Matthew Jordan had been practicing for several years for other organizations, he was finally able to launch MMC, his private practice, late in 2010 with one client, two eager professionals striving to make a difference, and a lot of hope.
That hope has flourished into many amazing opportunities to reach out to a number of clients from many walks of life. As our opportunities to help others grow, we are increasingly inspired by the outcomes possible through music therapy for people across a spectrum of difficulties, diseases, and disorders.
